Reschly Leads 'Dons in Final Round of Cullan Brown Collegiate

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf wrapped up its appearance at the Cullan Brown Collegiate on Tuesday (Oct. 8), finishing in 10th place in the 15-team field.
Brock Reschly had a team-best 74 in round three, which gave him a two-day total of 239. He was even on the front nine, getting birdies on five and seven to minimize the damage of bogeys on one and three. He found another birdie putt to fall on 14, the 448-yard par-4. Reschly finished with nine pars in addition to his three birdies. He tied for 71st overall.
Nick Holder finished with a 76 in round three, turning in nothing worse than a bogey. He had five bogeys and 13 pars. His 229 was good for 37th place.
Nick Bellush turned in an 80, totaling 234 for 57th place. On Tuesday, the sophomore recorded 12 pars, including 10 in an 11-hole stretch.
AJ Agnew tied for 48th with a two-day total of 232. After a tough start, he leveled out, going just 1-over in his last seven holes. This stretch included a birdie on 12 and four pars, paving the way for his 82.
Also shooting 82 in round three, Justin Hicks was the Mastodons' best finisher with a 227 for 29th. He started his day with two pars and a birdie on hole 18. Later on, he birdied the 568-yard seventh.
Purdue Fort Wayne finished with a 913 as a team. Kennesaw State turned in an 881 to win the event.
The Mastodons are back in action on October 21-22 at the Xavier Invitational to wrap up the fall season.
