UK beat USC Upstate, Northern Kentucky and Wofford by at least 29 points each. 6-foot-5 center Clara Strack is averaging a team-best 17.7 points per game in her first year at UK after transferring from Virginia Tech.

Purdue Fort Wayne was receiving votes in the most recent CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 with nine points. The Mastodons received 10 points in the poll several times last season for the first time. It was the first time receiving votes in the poll since 2011-12.

Amellia Bromenschenkel recorded a stat line of 14 points, five rebounds, five assists, five steals and three blocks. She is the first player in the NCAA to record that stat line on the road since 2018 (Chelsea Welch, Wright State at IU Indy) and the 10th of all Division I players to do so since the 2002-03 season. She is one of 52 players to record those marks in any game, home or away, since 2002-03.

Grand Quartet
Sydney Freeman, Amellia Bromenschenkel, Jordan Reid and Lauren Ross all own over 1,000 points in their careers. Freeman reached the milestone in 2022-23 in her one year at Dayton, Bromenschenkel scored all 1,000 at Purdue Fort Wayne, Reid scored over 1,000 in her time at Indiana Wesleyan, and Ross reached the milestone this season after three years at Western Michigan and one at Michigan State. Ross became a 1,000-point scorer against Defiance on November 12.

Closing In on 1,000
Audra Emmerson also has a chance to reach 1,000 points for her career. She has 717 points, needing 283 to reach the milestone. She scored 343 last season.

Last Time Out
Purdue Fort Wayne beat Defiance 104-31 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on November 12. The Mastodons had all 13 players score all least two points. Lauren Ross led with 15 points, pushing her over the 1,000-point milestone for her career.

Coming Up
The Mastodons will hit the road again on Thursday (Nov. 21) when they visit Eastern Michigan for the first time since 2019. After that, the Mastodons will head to Atlanta to play in the GSU Thanksgiving Classic against Georgia State, Campbell and Furman.
