Mastodon Women's Golf Beats The Citadel 3-1-1 in Match Play

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf picked up a 3-1-1 victory over The Citadel on Tuesday (Feb. 13) on the final day of the Oyster Shuck Match Play event.
Anna Olafsdottir won her second match of the week, topping Paige Gilstrap 5&3.
Adrienne Rohwedder moved to 1-1 with a 5&3 win over Maggie Parmer. Hunar Mittal won her match over Naomia Huang 1-Up to secure the win. Mittal won on the 19th hole after matching Huang through 18.
Natalie Papa ended her match with Sofia Vargas in a draw. The two were on their 20th hole before their match was cut short since the Mastodons had already secured the win.
Olivia Jang fell to Megan Ikeda 3&2.
Purdue Fort Wayne finished the event in a tie for fifth with Appalachian State. The Mastodons will be back in action on March 7-9 at the Sacred Heart Invitational in Orange City, Florida.
