Anna Olafsdottir Earns Another Top-10 at Nevel Meade Collegiate

PROSPECT, Ky. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf's Anna Olafsdottir secured a top-10 finish at the Nevel Meade Collegiate on Tuesday (March 19).
Olafsdottir wrapped up the tournament with a 76-83-159 to tie for seventh. She was one of two players in the field to record an eagle, which came on her third-to-last hole of the event. She got the eagle to fall on the 475-yard hole two thanks to a 90-yard third shot that fell into the cup. She added six pars to go with her eagle. With her eighth top-10 of her career, Olafsdottir is now tied for the most in program history in that category.
Adrienne Rohwedder shot 77-87-164 to tie for 21st. She had seven pars in round two and nothing worse than a bogey on the back nine.
Hunar Mittal shot 88-85-173 and tied for 49th. She had five pars, including three in a row from holes 2-4, and a birdie on the 367-yard 10th. Natalie Papa was one shot back at 88-86-174. She had nine pars, including eight on the back nine, in which she shot 38.
As a team, the 'Dons took eighth, ahead of Detroit Mercy and Evansville.
UIC and Oakland tied for the team title with UIC's Dasa Urbankova taking the individual medalist by five shots.
Purdue Fort Wayne returns to the course on Monday (March 25) in Batavia, Ohio for Northern Kentucky's The Julie.
