INDIANAPOLIS - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer team dropped the final regular season contest at IU Indy on Wednesday night (Oct. 29).

IU Indy began the match testing the Mastodon defense, taking the first three shots on goal of the contest.

Kyra Posey took the 'Dons first shot on goal in the 33rd minute, the attempt was denied by the keeper

Before the first half ended, the Jaguars took two more shots at the goal. All attempts in the first half were saved by keeper Jordan Imes.

IU Indy led the first half shot total 13-2.

The Jaguars opened the half firing, netting two goals in the first 10 minutes of the second period.

Scarlett Webster attempted to close the gap with an on goal attempt in the 59th minute.

IU Indy continued to apply pressure to close out the contest, taking four more shots on goal and extending their lead to 3-0 in the 82nd minute.

The Jaguars finished the match with 27 shots, 13 on goal, compared to the Mastodons' four shots, two on goal.

Purdue Fort Wayne finishes the season at 2-15-1, 1-9-0 in Horizon League play. IU Indy moved to 4-11-3, 3-5-2 in the HL.
