Trio of Mastodons Earn #HLVB All-Academic Team Honor

INDIANAPOLIS - Purdue Fort Wayne's Becky Barrett, Mya Plemons and Riley Rosneck were selected to the Horizon League's All-Academic Team, the league announced on Tuesday (Nov. 18).
Purdue Fort Wayne was one of just two schools to have three honorees on the All-Academic Team. Barrett (3.99) and Plemons (4.00) have the two best GPAs on the league's team. Plemons and Rosneck are the only sophomores to make the team.
Barrett's 3.99 GPA in the education program set her up for two Horizon League Academic Honor Roll nods and a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honor. She finished the season with the fourth-best digs per set mark (5.06) in Horizon League play.
Plemons was the only 4.00 GPA on the Horizon League's All-Academic Team, which she earned in the business program at Purdue Fort Wayne. The sophomore finished the regular season in Horizon League action with a .363 hitting percentage.
Rosneck owns a 3.82 GPA in the social sciences program. The 2024 Horizon League Freshman of the Year followed up her first season with an even better sophomore year. She averaged 4.00 kills per set in Horizon League play, which was third-best in the HL.
