
Shane Anderson Named CSC Academic All-District

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Shane Anderson of the Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer team was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District on Tuesday (Nov. 25).
This is Anderson's second career accolade from CSC after earning All-District honors last season.
In 2025, Anderson (Frisco, Texas / Frisco HS / Oral Roberts) led the Horizon League with nine goals. He was named the Horizon League Offensive Player of the Year. Anderson also picked up a spot on the all-tournament team after helping the Mastodons to a runner-up finish. He was picked to the 2025 Academic All-Horizon League Team for his work on the pitch and in the classroom.
Anderson moves on to CSC Academic All-America consideration.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. To qualify, all nominees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Anderson owns a 3.65 GPA in the MBA program at Purdue Fort Wayne.
He led the 'Dons to an 8-3-6 record and 5-2-2 mark in league play.
