Razo Lifts 'Dons to Fourth Straight Win

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Brandon Razo netted his fifth goal in five matches as the Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer team picked up its fourth consecutive win with a 1-0 victory over Wright State on Saturday (Sept. 19).
After battling to a scoreless tie through the first 45 minutes, Razo put the ball into the right side of the net to give the Mastodons a 1-0 lead. Jonny Hernandez and Daven Arias both assisted on Razo's goal.
The Mastodons' defense kept the Raiders from taking a single shot in the second half, as Purdue Fort Wayne finished the match with a 13-2 edge in shots. The 'Dons also held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks for the match.
Purdue Fort Wayne improves to 4-2-0 overall and 2-0-0 in Horizon League play. Wright State falls to 3-4-1 overall and 2-1-0 in league action.
The Mastodons continue league play on the road at Detroit Mercy on Saturday (Sept. 26).
