
Six Mastodons Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Six Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer players earned a slot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District on Tuesday (Nov. 25): Madelyn Bravata, Morgan Gallagher, Emersyn Geik, Kailey Hansen, Jordan Imes and Amanda Leonard.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. To qualify, all nominees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Imes owns a perfect 4.00 GPA in Purdue Fort Wayne's speech language pathology graduate program, after maintaining a 3.96 undergraduate GPA with a communication sciences and disorders major. The keeper has been named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll three times in her time with the Mastodons. The Indiana native was named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week once this season (Aug. 18). She finished the season with two shutouts after starting all 18 matches during the season.
Leonard holds a 3.92 GPA in the biology program. The junior has been a member of the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll twice. The Michigan native started all 18 matches during the season.
Bravata has a 3.86 GPA in the elementary education major. The junior has been a member of the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll twice. The Michigan native started in 16 matches on the season, playing in 17.
Gallagher owns a 3.85 GPA within the communication sciences and disorders major. The junior has been a member of the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll twice. The Illinois native scored three goals this season, assisting on two others. She started in all 18 contests of the year.
Hansen holds a 3.84 GPA in the education program. The junior has been a member of the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll twice. The Illinois native played in 17 matches during the season, starting in five.
Geik has a 3.75 GPA within the organizational leadership major. The Michigan native was named to the 2024 Horizon League Academic Honor Roll. The junior started in 17 matches on the season, recording 90 minutes in five contests this season.
