
Mastodon WSOC Welcomes Three Transfers for 2026

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's soccer program will welcome three transfers for the 2026 season: Elise Mayfield (Imperial, Mo.), Maggie Marlin (Greenwood, Ind.) and Paige Radel (Metamora, Ohio).
"We are thrilled to welcome these three student-athletes to the Mastodon Soccer program," head coach Jason Burr said. "They will add depth to an already exciting incoming first-year class in different areas of the field for our team. These three will each has an immediate impact on an already strong roster that should help us as we work to get back into contention in the Horizon League this fall.
Mayfield spent last fall at Columbia College in the NAIA, where she played in 17 games with 16 starts. She scored four goals and dished out three assists for 11 total points. Prior to her time as a Koala, she played at Windsor High School in Missouri and racked up 24 goals and 18 assists. She was a First Team All-Conference, All-District and All-Region selection as a senior. Mayfield spent three years playing for JB Marine Garabedian, where she led her squad to the Missouri State Cup final in 2023 and 2024 with a title in 2023. They also won the 2025 Midwest Regional. Mayfield graduated Summa Cum Laude from Windsor.
"Elise has been with us this spring and has shown high character and tireless work ethic throughout the season and will bolster our midfield," Burr said.
Marlin is a center back transfer from Robert Morris, where she redshirted the 2025 season. She played one year of high school soccer and led her team in minutes (1,819) with two goals scored. She was named her school's defensive MVP and was an Academic All-State player. She led the Trojans to sectional, regional and semi-state championships with a state runner-up finish. She was also a member of the cross country and track and field teams. Marlin played club at both Indy Eleven Pro Academy and FC Pride and made it to the ECNL National Four and earned two ECNL Super Cup selections. She comes to Purdue Fort Wayne with four years of eligibility.
"Maggie is coming home and we couldn't be more excited to bring back a talented Hoosier to add experience and a strong competitive mentality to our center back core," Burr said.
Radel is a transfer from University of Evansville where she started nine games and scored two goals with a total of 696 minutes played at the forward position. She sat out her freshman season in 2022 due to injury. In high school, she was named First Team All-State as a senior, and Second Team All-State as a junior. Radel was named to the All-District Team in each of her four years of her high school career. She played club ball for Pacesetter SC where she helped her team to two Ohio state titles and an ECNL Regional League Championship. Her dad played collegiate football, and her sister, Raegan, played the last two years of college soccer at Malone. Radel has one year of eligibility remaining to spend with the Mastodons.
"Paige is a goal-scoring center forward that has tremendous technical ability as a target player and is joining her former teammate in Mary McArdle coming to Purdue Fort Wayne," Burr said.
