Purdue Fort Wayne WBB Hosts Cleveland State For Pink Out

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball will play host to the Cleveland State Vikings this Saturday (Feb. 15) for its annual Pink Out game at 2 p.m.

Cleveland State is 20-6 and 11-4 in Horizon League play. The Vikings are coming off a 72-69 loss at Northern Kentucky on the road, but that came after winning their previous three. Mickayla Perdue is leading the league in points per game at 19.9 in HL games. Jordana Reisma is third in the nation with a 67.9 field goal percentage.

Cleveland State leads the all-time series 15-2, but Purdue Fort Wayne won the last meeting 78-75. That game came earlier this season in Cleveland and saw Lauren Ross hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 2.5 seconds left. Prior to that game, the Vikings had won the previous 11 contests.

Graber-Graber Double-Double
Sydney Graber had a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds against Wright State on February 8. Both of those marks were career-bests. She also became the first Mastodon to have back-to-back double-digit rebound efforts since Shayla Sellers in 2021.
4-Point Play!
In Purdue Fort Wayne's win over Wright State, Amellia Bromenschenkel had a 4-point play. It was the first 4-point play for the Mastodons since 2020.
The Newest Hall of Famer
Sydney Freeman was inducted into the Central Noble Hall of Fame on February 14. In her career at Central Noble, she scored 1,741 points (all-time leader), dished out 576 assists (ninth in IHSAA history) and recorded 553 steals (second in IHSAA history).
