Mastodon Mania Rolls on With 19-5 'Dons Hosting Wright State

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball will look for its 20th win of the season on Saturday (Feb. 8) when Wright State comes to visit. The Mastodons will tip off against the Raiders at 4 p.m. at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in a doubleheader with the men's program.

Wright State is 6-18 and 4-10 in the Horizon League. Since the Mastodons' last game against the Raiders in late December, WSU went 4-6 with wins over Detroit Mercy, Youngstown State, Milwaukee and Northern Kentucky. Most recently, the Raiders fell to IU Indy 80-68 at home. Amaya Staton and Claire Henson are averaging just above 10 points per game to lead the way for Wright State.

Sydney Graber recorded 10 rebounds off the bench in the first half of the Mastodons' game against Oakland on February 6. She single-handedly out-rebounded Oakland in the first 20 minutes, as the Golden Grizzlies finished with nine first-half boards. She finished the game with those 10 rebounds, setting a new career-high.
