Natalie Papa Takes Third at NKU's The Julie

BATAVIA, Ohio - Natalie Papa of the Purdue Fort Wayne women's golf team finished third at NKU's The Julie on Tuesday (March 25).
In the best finish of her career, Papa finished the event with a 78-75-153. She had nothing worse than a bogey in her second round. She went 3-over in her first five holes, but responded with a birdie on nine. She had six pars and three bogeys on the back nine before getting a birdie on hole two, going 1-under in her final four holes of action.
Hunar Mittal finished 12th at in NKU's tournament, shooting 83-76-159. She wrapped up Tuesday with 13 pars, finishing her day with a birdie. She had a 1-over 37 on the front nine.
One shot back of Mittal, Lillian Gottman shot 80-80-160 for 19th place. The sophomore had six pars in a row to start the final round.
Lara Dommach finished 34th with an 84-80-164. She had 10 pars in round two. Louise Ekesall had her score taken in round two, turning in an 87-79-166 for 44th. She had nine pars and a birdie on hole 12.
Lillie Cone played as an individual, shooting 88-81-169.
As a team, Purdue Fort Wayne shot 325-310-636 for fifth place.
The Mastodons are back in action on April 6 at the Indiana State Invitational.
