Jordan Yanders Named #HLTF Runner of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS - Purdue Fort Wayne's Jordan Yanders has been named the Horizon League Women's Track & Field Runner of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday (April. 29).
The senior broke the 100 meter hurdles school record at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational on Saturday (April 26). Yanders replaced the new record with a time of 13.48, the fastest mark in the Horizon League. The time also ranks 39th in the Division I East Region. The Indiana native now holds both indoor and outdoor 100 meter hurdles school records.
This is Yanders' first Runner of the Week selection in her career.
The Mastodons will travel to Youngstown for the 2025 Horizon League Outdoor Championships on May 9-11.
