Lillian Hurd Wraps Appearance at USATF U20 Meet

EUGENE, Ore. – Purdue Fort Wayne's Lillian Hurd competed in the 400 meters at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon at Hayward Field.
Hurd ran a time of 58.31 in the 400m for 15th place. While she didn't qualify for the 2025 World Athletics U20 Championships, she did become the third Mastodon to compete at the USATF U20 meet in as many years. Haylee Hile competed in the steeplechase in 2024 and Austin Hall ran the 10,000 meters in 2023.
Hurd (Columbus, Ohio/Columbus Alternative) will be back in the fall for her sophomore season at Purdue Fort Wayne.
