FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The 2025 Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer schedule was released Thursday (June 5).
The 'Dons will open the season with three exhibition matches. UIC (Aug. 9) and Michigan (Aug. 12) start the exhibition slate at the Hefner Soccer Complex, with a road trip to Bowling Green (Aug. 15) to follow. The 2025 regular season opens in Chicago, at DePaul (Aug. 21) and Loyola (Aug. 24).
Four straight home games follow the Loyola match, the longest home stretch of the season. Former league rival Eastern Illinois visits on Aug. 29, followed by a trip to Fort Wayne by Missouri Valley Conference foe Bradley on Sept. 7. Three days later on Sept. 10 it will be the department's annual Party at the Pitch event. The soccer doubleheader will see the men play Manchester at 7 p.m. following a women's game with Ball State at 4 p.m. The nine-game Horizon League schedule features four home matches at the Hefner Soccer Complex. It starts on Sept. 13 against Oakland. Robert Morris (Sept. 27), Green Bay (Oct. 18) and Northern Kentucky (Nov. 4) are Purdue Fort Wayne's four other home league matches.
The only non-league match once Horizon League play starts is a home contest with former Division II rival Southern Indiana on Sept. 23.
Unlike in previous years when the contest with IU Indy has been the final match of the year, this season sees a visit to the Jaguars on Oct. 11.
Wright State (Sept. 20), Milwaukee (Oct. 4), Cleveland State (Oct. 25) and Detroit Mercy (Oct. 31) make up Purdue Fort Wayne's other three league games.
