
Shane Anderson Named #HLMSOC Offensive Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS – Purdue Fort Wayne's Shane Anderson has been named the Horizon League Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday (Sept. 22).
Anderson scored a pair of goals in Purdue Fort Wayne's 4-2 victory over Wright State on Saturday. He scored the game winning goal in the 85th minute off a free kick. He iced the game with a second goal later in the second half.
Anderson leads the league in points (15) and assists (5) and is tied with teammate Iann Topete for the league lead in goals with five.
The Mastodons are one of 24 undefeated teams in the nation. Purdue Fort Wayne will put their 4-0-3 (2-0-0 Horizon League) record on the line on Tuesday (Sept. 23) against Southern Indiana. Kick at Hefner is set for 1 p.m.
