Bird Shows Out at Ole Miss

MUNCIE, Ind. & OXFORD, Miss. - The Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field program finished the Ball State's We Fly Challenge and the Ole Miss Joe Walker Invite on Saturday (April 11).
Josiah Bird threw the Horizon League's second-furthest shot put mark at Ole Miss, reaching 15.46 meters. The Sophomore also competed in the discus throw at the Joe Walker Invite, tossing 49.10 meters. The mark would be third in the league, sitting behind his own throw.
Noah Morris was the lone runner to compete for the Mastodons, running a 10.71 100 meter dash at Ole Miss. The time would rank third in the HL, but a previous time of his holds third.
Max Parciak was the onlt 'Don to compete at Ball State today. The Freshman threw a 13.41 meter shot put.
The 'Dons will split to take on Indiana State's Gibson Invitational (April 16-18) and the Wake Forest Invitational (April 17-18).
