
Reschly Named to #HLGolf All-Academic Team, Holder Honorable Mention

INDIANAPOLIS - Purdue Fort Wayne men's golfers Brock Reschly and Nick Holder were honored by the Horizon League on Thursday (May 14), as Reschly was named to the All-Academic Team and Holder was selected as an honorable mention.
Reschly owns a 3.91 GPA in the accounting program and is a repeat honoree for the Horizon League's All-Academic Team. The junior is a three-time Horizon League Academic Honor Roll recipient, a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree, and a Golf Coaches Association of America All-America Scholar. On the course, Reschly led the team with a 73.64 average and picked up a career-best three top-10 finishes in the 2025-26 season. He tied for third at the Tom Tontimonia Invitational and tied for seventh at the Savannah Intercollegiate and Horizon League Championship. He was also named Golfer of the Week on February 26, the first weekly award of his career.
In his five years in Fort Wayne, Holder had a 3.76 undergraduate GPA and a 3.69 graduate GPA in his pursuit of an MBA. He earned seven Horizon League Academic Honor Roll nods, three College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors and two Golf Coaches Association of America All-America Scholar distinctions. He was also named a Purdue Fort Wayne Top 50 student in 2025. Holder leaves Purdue Fort Wayne as the all-time leader with 132 rounds of golf played as a Mastodon and owns the seventh-best career scoring average in program history. He was a member of the 2023 Horizon League Championship and NCAA qualifying team and had the team's best score at the NCAA Regional. In his final week of college golf, Holder shot a 66 at the Horizon League Championship, the lowest of anyone at the 2026 championship.
Behind Reschly and Holder's lead, the Mastodons had a team average of 294.0, the third-best mark for a season in program history.
