
2026 Mastodon Men’s Soccer Schedule Announced

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer head coach Stephen Gorton has announced his club's 2026 schedule.
The Mastodons open the 2026 campaign with three exhibition contests, including two at home. First up is a visit by BIG EAST member Marquette on Aug. 8. A trip to former league-rival UIC follows on Tuesday (Aug. 11), before Bowling Green comes to Hefner for an exhibition on Aug. 14.
The Mastodons will play at Xavier on Aug. 20 to open the regular season and travel to back to Ohio on Aug. 31 to play at Dayton.
The 2026 regular season home opener is set for Sept. 3 against Manchester at 7 p.m. It is the annual Party at the Pitch contest, with the Mastodon women hosting Valparaiso.
The 'Dons host Defiance on Sept. 9 before concluding the season with 10 consecutive league games. IU Indy (Sept. 12), Detroit Mercy (Sept. 26), Robert Morris (Oct. 10), Milwaukee (Oct. 24) and Northern Kentucky (Nov. 3) will be road contests. Wright State (Sept. 19), Oakland (Oct. 3), Cleveland State (Oct. 7), Green Bay (Oct. 17) and Horizon League newcomer Northern Illinois (Oct. 30) will visit the Hefner Soccer complex.
Last season the Mastodons advanced to the Horizon League Championship match, finishing as runner-up following a loss at Cleveland State in extra time. The 2026 Horizon League postseason will be played Nov. 8, 11 and 14 at home sites.
