Men's Golf and Women's Soccer Teams Collect Raise Your Sights Awards

INDIANAPOLIS - Honoring the highest GPAs at each Horizon League institution, the league announced its Raise Your Sights awards on Tuesday (June 16), and Purdue Fort Wayne men's golf and women's soccer earned recognition from the HL.
The Raise Your Sights award is given annually to the top academic men's and women's teams in the Horizon League, based on combined GPA from the current academic year.
The men's golf squad had the highest men's GPA among Horizon League sports at Purdue Fort Wayne with a 3.40 team GPA. Justin Hicks had a team-best 3.89 GPA this year. The men's golf program has been honored as the men's Raise Your Sights honoree in all six years that the Mastodons have been members of the Horizon League.
The women's soccer team picked up its first Raise Your Sights nod this year with a 3.70 team GPA, the best in program history. There were four perfect 4.0 GPAs in the 2025-26 academic year: Madelyn Bravata, Jenna Ellsworth, Amanda Leonard and Elise Mayfield. The women's soccer team's 3.70 GPA was the highest among all teams at Purdue Fort Wayne this academic year.
