Mastodon WBB League Schedule Announced

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball Horizon League schedule is set. The Mastodons will play 20 league games with single plays against Milwaukee and Cleveland State and double plays against the nine other league teams.
There will be 10 home contests and 10 road games in HL play. The non-league slate will be announced soon.
The 'Dons will start league play on the road against foe IU Indy (Dec. 3), before hosting Wright State (Dec. 6) and finishing up the month at Milwaukee (Dec. 31).
The Mastodons will ring in the new year at Green Bay (Jan. 2), then host Cleveland State (Jan. 7) before a three-game road stretch at Northern Illinois (Jan. 10), Youngstown State (Jan. 13), and Robert Morris (Jan. 16). The 'Dons then come home for three straight against Northern Kentucky (Jan. 21), Green Bay (Jan. 24) and Detroit Mercy (Jan. 27). Purdue Fort Wayne closes January competition at Oakland (Jan. 31).
February starts with three more home games for the 'Dons with IU Indy (Feb. 3), Northern Illinois (Feb. 6), and Youngstown State (Feb. 10) coming to town. The Mastodons travel to Northern Kentucky (Feb. 13) before finishing up their home slate facing Oakland (Feb. 17) and Robert Morris (Feb. 20). The 'Dons will finish the regular season on the road taking on Detroit Mercy (Feb. 25) and Wright State (Feb. 27).
The Mastodons will look to advance to the Horizon League Championship at the new host site: The Arena at Innovation Mile in Noblesville, Indiana. The league championship game will be on Tuesday, March 9.
