Women's Basketball Unveils Non-League Schedule

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball head coach Kate Peterson Abiad has announced the non-league schedule for her program.

Prior to the regular season kicking off, the Mastodons will host NAIA foe Taylor University in an exhibition contest on October 26.

The Mastodons open the regular season against Xavier on November 2 at the Hillard Gates Sports Center.

The rest of the regular season non-league schedule features home games against Valparaiso (Nov. 13), Grace (Nov. 23), Eastern Michigan (Dec. 18) and Bowling Green (Dec. 21).

The Mastodons' regular season road slate is highlighted by a trip to the Big Easy Classic in New Orleans on November 27-28, where Purdue Fort Wayne will face Southern Illinois and Louisiana Monroe. The 'Dons will also visit DePaul (Nov. 6), Western Michigan (Nov. 10), Western Illinois (Nov. 17) and Southeast Missouri (Dec. 12).
