A former student-athlete for IPFW, Antwone Snead returns to the program as a student-assistant coach for the 2011-12 basketball season.
In 2009-10 as a junior with the Mastodons, Snead averaged 5.5 points and 6.6 rebounds, playing in 29 of the team's 31 games, starting 11. He converted on over 50 percent of his field goal attempts, while blocking 10 shots and dishing out 34 assists.
He recorded double-figure rebounds seven times, while scoring a career-high 17 points against North Dakota on December 12.
Snead, a native of Atlantic City, New Jersey, came to IPFW from Lamar Community College, where he nearly averaged a double-double.
