Edwards comes to IPFW after a strong four-year prep career at St. Joseph High School in Chicago, Illinois... Averaged nearly 18 points a game, while pulling down nine rebounds and dishing out three assists his senior season for head coach Gene Pingatore, the former high school coach of NBA legend Isiah Thomas....Caught the attention of many college programs this summer on the AAU circuit, when he averaged 26 points a game...Dropped 41 in a contest at the Adidas Invitational, averaging 30 points a game in that tournament.
