Competed in 30 games, starting 23...Averaged 3.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest...Scored a season-high 15 points against Ball State on Dec. 1 going a perfect 6-6 from the floor...Tossed in 10 points in IPFW's season-opener at Xavier, while limiting Musketeer's big man Kenny Friese to just 12 points...Grabbed a season-high five rebounds vs. IU-East on Nov. 25...Dished out a season-high two assists and blocked two shots in that contest...Ranked second on the team in blocks.
HIGH SCHOOL
McCorkle rewrote the record books at Bismarck-Henning High School in Danville, Illinois, before coming to IPFW....Missed 10 games his senior season, but still broke the school rebounding record and with 112 blocks topped the school mark by 60...Led the area in field goal accuracy at 69 percent and was fifth in rebounding at 9.8 boards a game...Became the school's third 1,000-point scorer...Honored as a First Team pick by the News-Gazette...Named to the Second Team All-State by the Illinois Coaches Association...Named All-Vermillion Valley Conference.
