2010 SEASON
In her last season as a Mastodon, Okihiro was a key defender for IPFW…she started all 17 matches for the ‘Dons…her lone shot of the season occurred against Centenary (Oct. 8)…Okihiro started in every game for IPFW during her four-year career.
2009 SEASON
As a junior, Okihiro started all 17 games she played...she had one goal and three points on the season...her goal was scored against Western Illinois (Oct. 30)...Okihiro had three shots with two being on goal...she had one assist...Summit League Scholar-Athlete Spotlight (Nov. 2009)...Vice President of SALT (2009)...President of SALT (2010)..Doc Skelton Award (2009 and 2010).
2008 SEASON
As the leader of IPFW’s backline in 2008, Okihiro helped the Mastodons stay competitive in each match, starting all 18 games for the Royal Blue and White...although playing on defensive end, Okihiro managed to fire off a shot attempt, missing by a slim margin, on September 12 against Central Michigan.
2007 SEASON
As a freshman, Okihiro started in all 17 games for the Mastodons... on the year, she fired eight shots attempts and four shots on goal...she returned for her sophomore season as one of four starters.
HIGH SCHOOL
Okihiro comes to IPFW from Iroquois Ridge High School in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. With the Trailblazers, she was a multiple sport athlete. Named the senior female athlete of the year, she was MVP of the soccer and basketball teams, and Most Improved Player on the volleyball squad. She was a Provincial (OFSAA) Silver Medalist in women's badminton doubles.
