2005 Season
Leitzke stepped right into the Mastodon offensive and posted great numbers in her only season. She had 1171 assists, averaging 11.15 per game along with 269 digs. She was named to the All-Independent Second Team for her efforts. Leitzke posted 13 "double-doubles" in her final season. She was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Hofstra/Asics Invitational and was MVP of the Western Illinois/Pizza Hut Invitational.
2004 Season
Leitzke was a redshirt for the 2004 season after transferring from Troy State University.
While at Troy State
Leitzke placed herself in Troy’s record-books multiple times. In single-season records, Leitzke holds the second spot in assists with 1,486 and made the list two other times with 1,179 and 934 assists. She holds three of the top four spots for assists per game with 12.18 (#1), 12.03 (#2), and 11.39 (#4). For match records, Leitzke holds records in assists and service aces. In her career at Troy, Leitzke placed herself on five career record lists. In assists, she holds the number three spot with 3,599 assists. She is the leader in assists per game with 11.92. In service aces, Leitzke holds the bottom position with 96 as well as in digs with 684. Leitzke just made the cutoff for digs per game with 2.29. In the Atlantic Sun Conference, Leitzke held the #2 spot in assists with 1,179 and 12.03 per game. Leitzke was also named to the Atlantic Sun All- Freshmen squad in 2001 and was an Academic All-Conference member in 2002 and 2003.
Prep
While at Hustisford High, Leitzke excelled on the court. She was named to the First Team All-Conference all four years as well as the Honorable Mention All State Team her sophomore year and in her junior year she was named to the Third Team All-State Team. In her senior year, she was named to the First Team All-State. She finished her career as the school’s all-time leader in assists (2,643) and service aces (273). In 2000, Leitzke led the Falcons to the 2000 state title with a 40-1-2 record. She was named to the Wisconsin Coaches Association All-Star Team in 2000. In club, Leitzke played for Wisconsin Power VBC from 1999-2000 and the Milwaukee Sting VBC from 1995-1998.
Personal
Born August 11, 1983, Leitzke is the daughter of Lowell and Ruth Leitzke. She has one brother, Laine. Leitzke is majoring in elementary education.
