2002 Season
In 109 games, Ray registered 19 service aces and 190 digs. (1.74 per game). Had a season best 17 digs against Eastern Michigan on 9/24/02. In that same match Ray had eight assists.
2001 Season
As one of two defensive specialists, Ray will be called upon to serve and play back row in all three positions. Ray served up a total of 25 aces for the year, which made her tied for third on the team. Ray's top performance was against Youngstown State on November 11, 2001 when she chipped in 2 aces and got 15 digs.
2000 Season
Ray earned a starting job at the defensive specialist position in the 2000 season. She was fifth on the team in digs with 211 and averaged 1.97 digs/game. Her best performance came twice when she had 14 digs against Quincy University and Fresno Pacific University.
High School
Ray joined the Mastodons at mid-season of 1999. She will have to be ready to compete for the starting defensive specialist this year. Prior coming to IPFW, she played all four years of volleyball at North Side High School. Coach Hartley hopes that Ray will pick up defensively where Jodi Schnelker finished her collegiate career.
Personal
Born May 15, 1981, Ray is the daughter of Tim and Susie Ray. She has a brother, Nate. Ray is majoring in organizational leadership and supervision.
