- Title:
- Consulting Dietitian
As a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist I combine my traditional medical background with an integrative/functional approach using nutrition tests, food, & supplements to create a personalized plan to help each client achieve their goals.
As a Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT) I'm trained to help clients suffering from non-IgE food sensitivities, often seen in hard to treat symptoms like irritable bowel syndrome, migraines, fibromyalgia, reflux, arthritis, and other chronic inflammatory conditions. This approach uses the MRT test & LEAP nutrition protocol, which has also proved beneficial for improved athletic performance/recovery, acne/skin issues, fatigue, challenging weight loss, PCOS, POTS, diabetes, and more.
From an early age, I have been interested in growing and making my own food, being outdoors, running, jumping and many other great joys of childhood! This led to a passion for track & field and cross country in middle school/high school and carried over into college as I ran track for Purdue University while I studied dietetics, and nutrition/fitness/health. Throughout most of my childhood and young adult life I also suffered from migraines, anemia, fatigue, and digestive issues that seemed to be unexplained during that time. After completing my studies and becoming a dietitian, I began diving more into the connection between food/digestive health/inflammation and discovered how to alter my nutrition and correct these issues that had been plaguing me most of my life. Because of this change I saw in myself and how it greatly affected my athletic performance, energy levels, and my overall quality of life I became even more passionate about creating the private practice that I have today where I love what I do: guiding people on personalized nutrition changes to help achieve better physical/mental/emotional health, happiness, & success.
