Men's Golf Team Opens Fall Season at John Piper Invite

John Piper Invitational: Day One Results
Bowling Green, OH- For the second time in as many years, the IPFW men's golf team opened up the fall season at the John Piper Invitational hosted by Bowling Green State. The Mastodons sit in 11th place after two rounds, with 18 holes remaining tomorrow morning.
As a team, IPFW fired a first day, two-round total of 623 (312-311). Bowling Green State and Green Bay share the opening day lead with a 581, followed by Indianapolis (588) and Cleveland (594).
Individually, the `Dons were led by freshman Drew Imel, who fired an opening round 74 and finished round two with a 75. He is tied for 18th place overall with a 145.

Austin Ehlenfeldt of Green Bay leads the individual competition with a 139 (69-70), two strokes ahead of Dayton's Jeff Hodapp (71-70).
The event will conclude tomorrow morning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. EST.
