Nominations Open For IPFW Athletics Hall of Fame

Fort Wayne, IN - Nominations are now being accepted for the 2010 IPFW Athletics Hall of Fame.
The IPFW Athletics Hall of Fame is in its fifth year of existence and was created to honor those men and women who have made outstanding contributions to the athletics program.
To be eligible for nomination, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
1. IPFW athletes (graduates and non-graduates) who have been away from IPFW for at least five years from their last date of competition.
2. Athletic support personnel (coaches, trainers, manager, administrators, etc.) are eligible once they have given 10 years of consecutive service to IPFW.
3. The Hall of Fame Committee may also consider friends, special contributors or others with preference given to those who have been associated with IPFW Athletics for 10 years.
Nominations may be offered by anyone, but the Selection Committee will make final decision on those who are nominated.
Qualification and criteria shall be based on the candidate's participation while attending IPFW and may include accomplishments after leaving the university. Consideration shall also be given for personal conduct in life and personal contributions to the highest ideals of intercollegiate athletics.
