Fort Wayne, IN - Coming into the weekend with a 3-3 overall record, the 2011 IPFW Mastodons close out its regular season tournament schedule at the Cleveland State Invitational over the weekend, where the squad will face off against Duquesne (5-2), Cleveland State (5-2), and DePaul (3-4).
Opponent: Duquesne (5-2), Cleveland State (5-2), and DePaul (3-4).

QUICK HITTERS
• Freshman outside hitter Kendall Wienkes tied the IPFW single-match three-set record with seven service aces against the Cowgirls of Wyoming.
• Emily Spencer became the first player since Fabiana Souza in 2002 to record double figure kill games in their first six contests as a freshman at IPFW, and had the highest kill total in a three-set debut in program history.
• Junior libero Tessa McGill has recorded double-figure digs in each of her last 14 games dating back to last season, the sixth longest such streak in program history, and gives her two of the six longest such streaks.
• McGill became the program's 14th member of the 1,000-dig club against Milwaukee, and now has 1,017 for her career, 13th most in program history.
• Emily Spencer has four double-doubles in her six matches at IPFW, while Megan Steenhuysen picked up one for her 28th of her career, the ninth most over a career in program history.
• IPFW women's volleyball is 48-26 all-time against the Horizon League, 7-9 vs. the Atlantic 10, and 3-10 against the BIG EAST
• IPFW assistant coach Jasmine Fullove is the niece of Ball State head coach Steve Shondell, and her younger sister, Jaclyn is a freshman setter on the Cardinal squad. The coaching family continues as two other of Jasmine's uncles are coaches at Purdue, Dave Shondell the head coach and John Shondell an assistant coach.
• With the addition of Luiza Gomes to the roster, the Mastodons now have had at least one Brazil native on the squad since 2002, a total of ten consecutive seasons (Fabiana Souza 2002-05; Cynara Martins 2004-07; Patty Azevedo 2006-07; Maya Schlindwein 2007-10; and Gomes).
