The Mastodons held the advantage in shots in each of the three periods of the game, including a 6-4 advantage in the first half, as neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first 45 minutes of the contest.
Six and a half minutes into the second half Proctor scored her first goal of the season when she picked up the rebound off of a Hoareau free kick, giving the Mastodons a 1-0 advantage.
