
Carvalho Leads Mastodons at C&F Bank Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - All five Mastodons fired in the 70s, but IPFW slipped down the team standings to 18th place after round two of the C&F Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary. The third and final round will take place Wednesday morning.
With a two-day total of 602 (293-309), the Mastodons are a shot back of Western Carolina and Delaware for 16th place. Missouri remains the tournament-leader heading into tomorrow with a 36-hole total of 576 (282-294).
Bruno Carvalho leads IPFW with a two-day mark of 149 (73-76). He sits tied for 62nd place. Patrick Kundenreich (71-79) and Jacob Groninger (73-77) are tied for 71st place with two-day totals of 150.
Drew Imel is in 99th place after posting a 36-hole total of 153 (76-77), while Eddie Tackett fired rounds of 83-79 to sit tied for 130th with a 162.
Jace Long (Missouri), Emilio Cuartero (Missouri) and Sebastian Backlund (Francis Marion) are in a three-way tie for first place in the individual competition with a 140 (-2).
Wednesday's final round will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. EST.
