Women's Soccer Looks to Snap Skid in Terre Haute

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW Mastodons will look to snap their two-match losing skid on Sunday afternoon, as the squad travels south to face on the Indiana State Sycamores in a 1 p.m. kickoff in Terre Haute.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
IPFW is coming off of back-to-back one-goal losses to open the 2012 season, falling 1-0 at Butler, and 1-0 against Toledo at home.
In the last narrow loss, the Rockets scored in the 56th minutes of the game, as freshman goalkeeper Sam Pavlika allowed only one goal for the second consecutive contest.
The Mastodons peppered the Toledo goal early and often in the first half, putting up six total shots, five of those on goal, but not finding the back of the net in any of the tries.
SCOUTING THE SYCAMORES
Indiana State comes into the game with a 1-1 overall record after falling 3-0 at Butler on Friday. Marisa Windisch and Shelby Troyer each have scored goals for the Sycamores, with Windisch dishing out the team's only assist.
Goalkeeper Erin Mitchell has a 1.50 goals against average this season, with nine saves and one shutout in goal.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Indiana State holds a narrow 3-2-1 lead in the all-time series between the two teams. The squads split their first three meetings all-time, 1-1-1, before the Sycamores won 2-0 in 2007 and 2010. Last season the Mastodons opened the season with a 1-0 victory over ISU.
