Women's Golf Tees Off for 2012-13 on Saturday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW women's golf team kicks off its 2012-13 season on Saturday at the IU Golf Course as one of nine teams in the IU Fall Kickoff.

COMPETING TEAMS
There are nine teams in the 2012 IU Fall Kickoff, including Summit League rival IUPUI. The other teams in the field include Indiana, Indiana State, Valparaiso, Southern Indiana, Christian Brothers, DePauw, and Franklin.
IPFW LINEUP
The IPFW lineup for the event will consist of senior Alyssa Turney, junior Taylor Lamphier, sophomores Sydney Bailey, Allison Curtis, and Ashton Taft. Golfing as individuals will be senior Breanna Hatter and freshman Brenna Sherwood.
ABOUT THE COURSE
The IU Golf Course is a Par-72 course that is 6,142 yards long.
