
IPFW Announces 2013 Hall of Fame Class

HALL OF FAME CEREMONY REGISTRATION
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Four new inductees have been selected for enshrinement into the IPFW Athletics Hall of Fame at 4 p.m. at the Memorial Coliseum Rooftop Lounge.
The new inductees are Ricky De La Torre from men's soccer, Ryan Keena from baseball, Andi Reichhart Adams from women's volleyball, and Leah (Sheets) Swing from women's basketball.
De La Torre, who graduated in 1987, ended his career as the program's all-time leading goal scorer, and currently stands second in program history behind current head coach Mike Harper. He scored 43 goals over his career, while his 14 assists are tied for fifth all-time. His 100 career points also currently ranks second in school history.
He has three of the 18 10-plus goal seasons in IPFW history, including scoring 14 in both 1984 and 1986, while scoring 10 times in 1983.
He and his wife Blanca have two daughters, Priscila and Julissa, one son, Ricky Jr. He currently does landscaping in the Lake Chapala area in Mexico.
Keena, who graduated in 2006, holds numerous career school records at IPFW including hits (199), runs scored (140), times hit by pitch (55), stolen bases (96), games (198), games started (189), and at-bats (662), and second in career doubles (32), RBI's (129), and walks (89).
His 20 hit-by-pitches in 2005 continues to stand as a single-season school record, and his 33 steals in 2005 and 32 steals in 2006 rank second and third all-time.
He has a fiancé – Leah Newcomb – and works for Dexone.
Reichhart, a 1998 graduate, ranks sixth in career kills in IPFW history with 1,505, and her .362 career attack percentage is far and away the career school record in the category. Her 358 career blocks also rank seventh in school history.
Her 508 kills in 1997 rank ninth all-time for kills in a season, while her .436 attack percentage that season is the single-season high-water mark in school history. She also holds the single-match attack percentage record of .824 with 14 kills, no errors, and 17 attempts against Kentucky Wesleyan in 1997.
She and her husband Dane Adams – a former IPFW basketball player have three kids, Dakota, Max, and Oliver. She currently works as a construction manager for the City of Fort Wayne.
Sheets, a 1998 graduate, scored 1,589 points in her career, fourth-most in program history, as her 14.7 point per game average ranks eighth all-time. Her 596 career field goal makes rank fourth all-time, and her 396 free throw makes sit third all-time in program history.
She was a consistent player, averaging double-figure scoring in all four of her seasons at IPFW, increasing from 11.3 points per game as a freshman to 18.7 as a senior, reaching her 1,000th career point during her junior campaign.
She and her husband Justin have two kids, Haley and Grady. She currently works at Abacus Early Learning Center.
