Men's Golf Wraps Up Fall Season With 15th Place Finish

KETTERING, Ohio - The IPFW men's golf team wrapped of its fall season with a 15th place finish at the Dayton Fall Invitational with a two-day score of 628.

Hosted by the University of Dayton at the par-71 NCR Country Club South Course, the tournament was played at 7,100 yards. Xavier won the team title with a 36-hole score of 587. George Rohde III of Dayton won the individual medalist honors with a score of 1-under-par 141.

The Mastodons finished two strokes back of 14th place Loyola Chicago.

Leading the 'Dons was Devin Jenkins who closed out the week in a tie for 22nd place with a 151. David Watterson shot a 158 over two days to finish tied for 65th. Two strokes back in a tie for 72nd was Clark Tiller with a score of 160. Drake Devereux and Tyler Meyer were separated by one stroke with rounds of 164 and 165, respectively. Devereux finished tied for 88th while Meyer tied for 94th.

Carter Dornseif participated in the tournament as an individual and carded a 36-hole score of 164 to tie for 88th place.
