FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The IPFW Athletic Department is proud to announce four former student-athletes who have been selected for enshrinement into the IPFW Athletics Hall of Fame on January 23, 2015.
The new inductees are Tony Luhning from men's volleyball, Ian Luya from men's soccer, Bruce Roland from men's basketball, and Robin Scott from women's basketball.

He also helped lead the team to the 1991 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) Tournament Championship, and to the NCAA Final Four.
He was named First Team All-MIVA in 1989, 1990, and 1991, and his 474 kills in 1990 rank as the 17th highest single-season total in program history. His 244 digs in 1990 remains seventh on the all-time single-season list, and he will join former teammates Norman Almodovar, Lloy Ball, Golsteyn, Fred Malcolm, Raul Papaleo, and head coach Arnie Ball, in the Hall of Fame.
Luya was a part of the 1999 NCAA Elite Eight squad that finished with a 17-4-2 record, winning the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Tournament and regular season title. That season, the squad reeled off a school-record 10 consecutive victories before falling to Charleston (W.Va.) on the road in the NCAA Tournament.
He scored 27 goals in his career, including a career-high nine as a freshman in 1999. His goal total ranks fifth in school history, while his 63 points rank sixth and nine assists sit 10th. He started 51 of 74 matches during his career, and knocked in a pair of game-winning goals. He is joined in the Athletics Hall of Fame by former teammates Matt Hein and Jeff Richey.
Roland, who played from 1986 through 1989, stands third in school history in career scoring with 1,477 points, and his 19.2 point per game average stands as the second highest in program history. He was named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) First Team in 1987-88 and 1988-89.
His 1987-88 season remains the highest scoring single season in program history with 672 points, averaging 24.0 points per game. Included in that season is a 41-point effort against Southern Indiana, which was followed with a 37-point effort against Tri-State three days later, both among the ten highest scoring single game efforts in program history. He will join teammate Lawrence Jordan and head coach Andy Piazza in the Athletics Hall of Fame.
Scott, who played from 1987-91 was a part of the golden era of IPFW women's basketball, as she helped lead her squads to a four-year record of 63-46, the second-best four-year record in program history.
