Men's Golf Places 9th At John Dallio Memorial Tournament

LEMONT, Ill. - The IPFW men's golf team concluded the final day of the John Dallio Memorial tournament in ninth place with a 54-hole score of 941.

The Mastodons finished four strokes behind eighth place Eastern Illinois.

Hosted by DePaul University as the par-72 Ruffled Feathers Golf Club, the course was played at 6,898 yards. IUPUI took home the team title with a two-day score of 904. Brandon Jowers of Columbia claimed the individual medalist honors finishing the tournament at 8-under-par 208.

IPFW was led by Clark Tiller who finished in a tie for 26th place with a tournament total 233. Sitting three strokes back in 34th place was David Watterson with a 54-hole total 236. In a tie for 37th, Devin Jenkins and Tyler Meyer each finished the weekend with scores of 238, respectively. Rounding out the scoring for the Mastodons in 65th place was Logan Barker, shooting a 254 over two days.

IPFW returns to the course for the two-day Kenny Perry Invitational hosted by Western Kentucky beginning on October 13.
