FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW women's basketball team will close out its 2013-14 road schedule when the Mastodons travel to Denver for a Pink Day game at 3 p.m. (EST).

Scouting the Pioneers
Denver has dropped four straight, win their last win coming on January 26 in an 87-83 win over Western Illinois. Three of Denver's five wins this season have come against Summit League opponents, including South Dakota and Omaha.
Denver dropped a 68-55 decision to IUPUI on Thursday on their home court as Morgan Van Riper-Rose scored 17 points to lead the Pioneers. Van Riper-Rose scored in double figures for the 10th time this season. Desiree Hunter added seven points and recorded a game-high 11 rebounds. Alison Janecek grabbed five rebounds to accompany eight points, and a block. Alecia Espinoza was big off the bench, scoring five points and grabbing six rebounds in just 21 minutes of action. Paige Bradley had seven points to go along with two assists and a steal. Denver finished the game shooting 34.0 percent, after shooting 42.3 percent in the first half, and shot 17-of-23 (73.9 percent) from the charity stripe.
All-Time Series
IPFW won the only meeting between the two schools which came earlier this season in Fort Wayne, 81-78. Amanda Hyde led IPFW with 27 points and Haley Seibert added 24 in the victory. The IPFW offense connected on 27-of-52 (51.9%) from the floor, 7-of-21 (33.3%) from long range and 20-of-25 (80%) at the free throw line.
1,500 point Club Member...
Against South Dakota on February 13, Amanda Hyde became just the seventh player in school history to eclipse 1,500 points. She now sits 15th all-time in Summit League history with 1,517 career points. She needs 27 points to move into 14th all-time in league history.

The IPFW Mastodons have made a 3-point field goal in 459 straight contests, a stretch that ranks as the third longest active streak in NCAA Division I. Iowa State's streak is at the top of the list by making a 3-point field goal in 604 consecutive games. Sam Houston State is the only other team head of IPFW with 557 after Connecticut had their streak snapped vs. Notre Dame in the Big East Tournament last year at 505 games.
