FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW women's basketball team will honor its four seniors, Amanda Hyde, Jessie Manwaring, Rachel Mauk and Stefanie Mauk as they play in their final home game of the regular season against Omaha on March 1 with tip-off set for 2 p.m.

Scouting the Mavericks
Omaha had its three-game winning streak snapped at IUPUI on Thursday, falling 69-52. The Mavs led early, but a 22-2 run by the Jags gave them the lead for good. Taijhe Kelly led the Mavs with 15 points and seven rebounds. She went 11-of-14 at the free throw line. Ericka House had 14 points, while Lanese Bough had eight points and four steals. Omaha shot 39.5 % (17-of-43) overall and just 9.1 % (1-of-11) from 3-point range and 17-of-20 at the free throw line.
Omaha is a very young team with just three letter winners returning from a season ago. Seven of the 10 Mavericks who have played this season are first-year Division I players - five freshmen and two junior transfers. Head coach Brittany Lange was named the interim head coach on Oct. 2 and then named Omaha's full-time head coach on Dec. 31. Omaha is in its third year as a reclassifying Division I and second year in The Summit League. UNO is ineligible to participate in the Summit League tournament or the NCAA Tournament.
All-Time Series
IPFW took the matchup earlier this season 81-71 in Omaha after the two teams split both meetings last season, Omaha's first as a member of the Summit League. Prior to the Mavericks joining, the two squads had never met. Both teams won on their home court last year, but IPFW has won two straight meeting. Last time out Haley Seibert led IPFW with 32 points, including seven three-pointers.

Against South Dakota on February 13, Amanda Hyde became just the seventh player in school history to eclipse 1,500 points. She now sits 11th all-time in Summit League history with 1,603 career points. She needs 12 points to move into 10th all-time in league history.
In the final game of the 2012-13 season, Hyde became the 18th player to reach the 1,000-point mark.

Three-Point Streak...
The IPFW Mastodons have made a 3-point field goal in 462 straight contests, a stretch that ranks as the third longest active streak in NCAA Division I. Iowa State's streak is at the top of the list by making a 3-point field goal in 608 consecutive games. Sam Houston State is the only other team head of IPFW with 560 after Connecticut had their streak snapped vs. Notre Dame in the Big East Tournament last year at 505 games.

Amanda Hyde ranks 9th among active career leaders in Division I in free throw percentage hitting 85.9 of her attempts. Hyde ranks 16th amongst all Divisions with a minimum of 250 career free throws. Maggie Lucas of Penn St. leads DI with a career 90.9 percent.
Hyde tied two Summit League records on November 26 at SIUE; free throws made (18) and free throws attempted (21). They also tied for 4th in IPFW history. Hyde again tied the free throws made record on February 22 against IUPUI and her 20 attempts that game rank second in league history.
