
Men's Basketball Hosts Bison in IPFW Homecoming

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW men's basketball hosts its 2014-15 homecoming game on Saturday evening, as the Mastodons welcome the North Dakota State Bison to the Gates Sports Center in the second game of a women's / men's doubleheader.

North Dakota State comes into the weekend ? nale having won seven of its last eight games, including a 69-61 overtime win over IUPUI on Thursday evening.
In the win over IUPUI, the Bison spread the team's 225 total minutes over just seven players, each of whom scored at least four points. In the game Law-rence Alexander scored a game-high 24 points, with A.J. Jacobson and Dexter Werner each scored 10. Chris Kading pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds, while scoring six points and blocking three shots. Carlin Dupree dished out a game-high four assists, as Jacobson and Kading each dished out two assists.
Alexander, the lone senior on the team, leads the squad by averaging a Summit League-best 18.2 points per game. Jacobson and Kory Brown average 10.6 and 10.2, respectively.
Werner averages 9.8 and a team-best 6.3 rebounds per game off of the bench. Six other Bison: Carlin Dupree (4.9), Alexander (4.6), Brown (4.6), Ja-cobson (4.1), Paul Miller (4.1), and Chris Kading (4.1) each pull down over four rebounds per game. Dupree dishes out a team-best 3.2 assists per game, while also leading the team with 22 steals. Werner also paces the team with 29 blocked shots, with Kading blocking 21 for the year.
