Women's Soccer Puts Unbeaten Streak on the Line

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW women's soccer team will put its school record-tying five game unbeaten streak on the line on Sunday morning when the team hosts the Omaha Mavericks in an 11:30 a.m. kickoff at the Hefner Soccer Complex.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
IPFW comes into the Sunday morning match on one of the hottest stretches of any Mastodon team in program history. The team's 3-0-2 record is tied for the longest unbeaten streak in program history (more information below).
In the team's last game, a 2-2 draw against the IUPUI Jaguars, the Mastodons found themselves trailing 2-0 in the second half before a free kick goal from Erin Gill and a penalty kick goal from Rachel Good knotted the score at two goals apiece.
Good, who was named the Summit League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, October 2, leads the team with three goals, five assists, and 11 points. Six other players - Kallianne Mogler, Andie Lazzerini, Kassidy Simpkins, Erin Gill, Katrina Sutherly, and Brooke Bishir - have two goals on the season. Good has five assists, while Paityn Fleming has three helpers and Mogler two.
Defensively Kiley Dunning has 86 saves this season, the fifth-most in NCAA Division I this season. She has three shutouts - all within the last five matches - and a 1.84 goals against average.
SCOUTING THE MAVERICKS
Omaha enters the match coming off a thrilling 2-1 double-overtime win over IUPUI on Friday night. The win gave the Mavericks their first win in Summit League play, while improving their overall record to 4-7-2.
The Mavs are led offensively by Chelsi Rohloff's 11 points, coming off five goals and an assist. Courtney Neville has earned two assists for Omaha, while nine other student-athletes have been credited with an assist.
Katlyn Schochenmaier and Haley Shelton have split time in net, as Schochenmaier has seen action in 11 matches for the Mavs. Schochenmaier has made 58 saves, earning a 1.48 goals against average, including a single shutout for Omaha. Shelton has played in five matches, accumulating 333 minutes, making 19 saves for a 2.97 goals against average.
NATIONALLY RANKED
This season, IPFW sophomore goalkeeper Kiley Dunning ranks first in the Summit League and fifth in the country with 86 goalie saves. Her 6.6 saves per game average also ranks 22nd. IPFW's 7.23 saves for game as a team also ranks 19th among its NCAA Division I competitors.
