Men's Golf Second Round Postponed

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The second round of the Kenny Perry Invitational was postponed due to darkness and weather, as the IPFW men's golf team was one of three schools unable to finish the 36 holes. The Mastodons recorded a 306 for the first 18 holes of the tournament.

Hosted by Western Kentucky at the par-72, 7,319-yard The Club at Olde Stone, Memphis ended the day atop the team leaderboard with a two-round score of 583. Andrew Huseman of Arkansas State is the individual leader with a 4-under-par 140.

All five IPFW golfers had at least one hole to play as Jacob Groninger and Zach Schroeder each had two holes to go. Groninger leads the 'Dons in a tie for 10th after shooting an even-par 72 in the opening round. Devin Jenkins and Schroeder tied for 37th as Jenkins carded a 76 for round one and Schroeder finished at 78. Dan Wert Recorded a round of 80 to open the day as he ended the day tied for 59th with one hole to play. Drake Devereux closed out the early scoring for the Mastodons with an 82 and finished day one in 64th place.

The final two holes of the second round and the third round will begin tomorrow, October 13 at 10 a.m.
