
Women's Golf Wraps Up Its Fall Season

KETTERING, Ohio - The IPFW women's golf team wrapped up its fall season with a 14th place finish at the Dayton Fall Invitational, recording a final-round 332 to shoot a two-day score of 669.
Hosted by Dayton at the par-70, 5,869-yard NCR Country Club - North Course, Indianapolis captured the team title in a scorecard playoff with Grand Valley after both teams carded with a 610. Kasey Petty of Findlay took home the individual medalist honors with a 6-over-par 146, to win by one stroke.
Jenna Kurosky shot a career-low 77 in the final round to finish tied for 33rd with a 36-hole score of 162. Her 77 also ties her for the ninth lowest round in program history by a sophomore. Brenna Sherwood ended the tournament tied for 43rd with a two-day score of 164. Candi Keller carded an 82 on the final day to tie for 68th place with a 171. Abigail Carlsen ended the week tied for 75th shooting a 174. One shot back and rounding out the team scoring for IPFW was Monica Dorner finishing tied for 80th place.
Playing as an individual for the Mastodons were Madison Chesnutt and Paige Bird. Chesnutt ended in a tie for 68th, recording a 171. Bird closed out here fall season with a combined score of 181 to finish 85th overall.
