Mastodons Fall in Final Road Match of the Regular Season

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The IPFW women's soccer team fell in its final regular season road match of the year, falling to South Dakota State 4-0 on Sunday afternoon, as Kiley Dunning made four saves for the Mastodons.
The Blue and White were in a scoreless battle for the first 39 minutes, but the Jackrabbits got on board following a goal from Madison Yueill. SDSU would extend its lead early in the second half after Dani Patterson scored coming off a corner kick from Nicole Hatcher in the 48th minute. The Jacks would earn two more goals before the end of the match.
Rachel Good and Andie Lazzerini each took as shot on goal for the 'Dons.
The Mastodons return home for the final regular season match of the year as they take on South Dakota for Senior Day on November 1 at noon. Good, Kelsie Carlson, Erin Gill, Brooke Bishir, Tessa Edwards, and student assistant coach Krysta Hedrick will each be honored prior to the match as a part of the Senior Day celebration.
