In 2015, IPFW head men's volleyball coach Arnie Ball is in his 35th and final season. Ball established IPFW's national reputation as a Midwest volleyball powerhouse, and his reputation as a coach, mentor, teacher, community leader, and friend is legendary.
Together we have an opportunity to celebrate all that Arnie Ball means to IPFW, the Fort Wayne community, and the players privileged to call him Coach.
"Coach Arnie Ball put IPFW on the map, let's put his name on the court," said IPFW Athletic Director Kelley Hartley Hutton. "Over his 35 year career he has led IPFW to National Championship matches and mentored countless young people at IPFW. Making Arnie Ball Court a reality would be a fitting thank you."
THE ARNIE BALL COURT CAMPAIGN,The Arnie Ball Court Campaign seeks to raise $250,000 to name the court in Gates Athletics Center "Arnie Ball Court" in Coach Ball's honor. Funds raised to name the court "Arnie Ball Court" have been restricted to future renovations and repairs to the Gates Center.
