Jenkins Leads Men's Golf After Day Two in Virginia

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - After the second round of the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate, the IPFW men's golf team now sits in 29th place with a team score of 633. The Mastodons enter the final day just one stroke back of 28th place La Salle.

Hosted by The College of William & Mary at the par-70 River Course at the Kingsmill Resort, the course is being played at 6,765 yards. Loyola and Maryland are tied for the team lead with two-day scores of 573. Through 36-holes Jamison Randall of Old Dominion sits atop the individual leaderboard with a score of 1-under-par 139.

Devin Jenkins ended the day in a tie for 57th with a score of 149 through two rounds. David Watterson finished with a score of 153 to end the round tied for 89th. In a tie for 150th is Oliver Gibson shooting a 36-hole score of 166. One stroke back entering the final round in 152nd is Clark Tiller. Drake Devereux rounded out the team scoring for the 'Dons with a two-day score of 172 to close out the round in 154th place.

The final round of the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate will be a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.
